This week we have been treated to samples of the rantings of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barak Obama’s minister for the last 20 years. Obama is doing his best soft shoe right now telling the media "don't look at that man behind the curtain". He said that he has not heard the good Reverend make any such statements like this personally and he said that had he heard such comments as these, he would have objected to these comments and may well have quit that church. One of two things must be true here: either Obama is a member of that church in name only and has been there only infrequently, which makes a lie out his statement that Wright is his mentor and helped him find Jesus Christ or he is fully aware of the hatred that Wright has for America, has been a contributing member of the church for 20 years, was married in that church, his children were baptized in that church and Wright was such an influence that Obama’s book, “The Audacity of Hope” is titled after a sermon that Wright gave in that church. In the latter case, Obama statement that he was not aware of Wrights anti-American screed is a total lie.
For us to believe that he has been a contributing member for 20 years and not have an inkling of Wrights beliefs is equivalent to saying that you’ve both watched CNN and read the New York Times for 20 years and was not aware that both are shills for the Dems. To say that strains credulity and one must be totally naïve to believe it.
Americans still don’t know Obama because the press has given him a total pass thus far and this Jeremiah Wright incident gives the American people a little insight to man who would be president. The layers of the Obama onion are starting to be peeled off and once that happens, the American people may not like what they smell inside.
